The challenge

The solution
A configurable arrangement for detecting fire-related signals, coordinating a compatible suppression system and recording or reporting events. The final arrangement depends on the selected detection devices, suppression technology, control interfaces and vehicle-specific safety assessment.
How it works
The intended rolling-stock application and hazard scenarios are defined first. Detection devices and control interfaces are then assessed against the selected suppression equipment and vehicle systems. Integration, environmental testing, fail-safe behaviour and railway approval requirements must be established before any deployment claim.
